Red Light Special: A Night Of Urban Burlesque At Black Bear Bar

    BROOKLYN, NY, July 27, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Red Light Special takes you through a journey of the woman's expression of her self love and sexuality. Showing her confidence in her body while seducing the audience, one dance at a time. Integrated with a variety of dance styles including Contemporary, Dancehall, Afro Fusion and Street Jazz all while dancing in heels. It is a full night event.

There will be genres of music ranging from ,Trip Hop, RnB, Reggae, Alternative and more played by our live DJ King Lunii! Vendors Hallie Kruger Custom Apparel and Screen Printing plus more will have goodies for you to purchase and enjoy. You can listen to some good music, have a cocktail with friends all while watching an entertaining show.

The show first debuted in January 2016 at the Brooklyn Wineyard and brought in a packed house. The dancers performed, while engaging and interacting with the audience. What a fun night!

For the second show, Art Of Legohn,LLC has teamed up with Indiphiles for promotion and marketing for this sexy event.

Red Light Special will feature a number of dance pieces performed by skilled dancers Rita-2-It, The Goddess, Jessica Figueroa, Jean Tree and Imani Nzingha. Visual arts will be featured by Art Of Legohn's visual artists Jean Tree, Shayla Russel, Asha Qüwan and Yaminah Legohn.

There will be guests musician performances by International Reggae-Dancehall Artist, Mr. Glamarus and Reggae-Soca Artist Sen I Sennon and a few more special guests.

About the director

Yaminah Legohn is a passionate and dedicated choreographer, professional dancer, and performer of West African, dancehall/reggae, hip hop, jazz and modern dance styles. Before moving to New York, Legohn worked in Los Angeles as a choreographer and professional dancer with several artists, including Shakira, N.E.R.D, Tony Toni Tone, Lil Wayne, and B.o.B. and appeared on TV shows. She has worked in the Black Choreography Festival in the Bay Area, American College Dance Festival, Soul Nation Festival in Indonesia, Choreographer's Ball "Carnival" in Hollywood and New York, World of Dance, San Francisco International Hip Hop festival, and RAW Artists in Los Angeles and New York. Simply put, she lives to spread her love and passion for the arts.
