/24-7PressRelease/ - November 25, 2007 - reed.co.uk, the UK's biggest job site, has launched a brand new CV search service. The service forms part of a suite of new online recruitment products and will enable recruiters to access the CVs of over 1 million active jobseekers.
CV Search will be offered as an upgrade to the existing
reed.co.uk free online recruitment service, Freecruitment. It will sit alongside new products, including a market first, the newly launched
Guaranteed Response job posting service.
Martin Warnes, Operations Director at reed.co.uk, commented:
"reed.co.uk has been an invaluable source of quality candidates for tens of thousands of recruiters for over five years now. Our new products will take our service to the next level.

"And that's not all. reed.co.uk's CV database will also be the freshest available, with over 1 million CVs, all updated within the last twelve months."
Vacancies upgraded to receive Guaranteed Response will gain added prominence on reed.co.uk and will be instantly emailed to the twenty best matching candidates. If recruiters haven't received at least five applications within a week, they'll be entitled to make up the difference with free CV downloads.
Warnes further commented:
"Guaranteed Response is the first service to remove the uncertainty from posting jobs online, by guaranteeing a relevant and timely response.
"We believe that it's unacceptable for recruiters to pay for a service and receive nothing back, which is why we've designed Guaranteed Response."
Other products recently launched by reed.co.uk include 'Featured Jobs' and a range of branding and targeted email services.
reed.co.uk will continue to offer
free job posting, via its pioneering Freecruitment service, which enables organisations to post up to 500 jobs per annum to reed.co.uk for free.
