-- Reggie Morrison, retired executive vice president of AM Entertainment, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in advertising.
After working at various advertising agencies including Allied Artist Picture Corp (based out of Boston) and Wells Rich Greene, Ms. Morrison became well-known in the industry. She decided to go out on her own. Her first year in business netted $10 million. After gaining 40 years of professional experience, she retired nearly 10 years ago. At that point, her company had made $90 million for the year.
She was responsible for ensuring successful advertising campaigns for the motion picture industry. This entailed maintaining client relations and placing advertising in newspapers, magazines, and outdoors. Through her great connections, her clients were major studios, including Disney, 20th Century Fox, Paramount and MGM — all of the major ones, in fact, except for Warner Brothers. AM Entertainment (Allied Morrison) had offices in Boston, New York and Philadelphia.
In 2012, Worldwide Who's Who inducted Ms. Morrison as a VIP Member. She attributes her success to always having an open-door policy. She treated all her employees like family and was able to relate to each of them. Ms. Morrison is a member of Advertising Women of New York and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
