REGINA, SK, CANADA, March 17, 2010
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Cormican, Producer and CSSC Founder, has found his name amongst the list of nominees at the annual Mayor's Awards. Specifically, Cormican has been nominated under the Innovation in the Arts category.
"I emailed my father straight away to share the news and he responded with 'such an achievement and so young' " says Cormican. "I'm not so sure about the young part; however, I am extremely honoured and humbled. To be considered worthy of such a distinction is a true privilege".
Regina Mayor, Pat Fiacco, will be on hand to announce this year's winners and celebrate the various artistic talents that help make Regina a rich and vibrant place to live.
Cormican and a guest have been invited to attend an exclusive VIP reception, at a yet to be announced location, just prior to the awards ceremony.
The Mayor's Arts and Business Awards, presented by Dr. Roberta McKay, Mr. Elmer Brenner and Letterbox Gallery and Gifts, Lumsden, will take place in Regina at The Connexus Art Centre on Wednesday, April 15th, 2010 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm.
