In fact, women are more attracted to men whose scents are immunologically dissimilar to themselves.

Further studies at the University of Chicago showed that the opposite is true when a woman was on birth control: in that case, she was attracted to men whose immune systems that were similar to hers—because it meant that these men would be more concerned about protecting her than mating with her.
