Restaurant Reservations Start up, Eat, Launches in Dubai

The Bahrain-based company official launches its presence in the United Arab Emirates with new staff and facilities

DUBAI, UAE, November 03, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eat, a Bahrain-based start-up providing a restaurant discovery & real-time reservations app, has continued its rapid expansion in the GCC by announcing the opening of a new office in Dubai. Following the company's acquisition of the majority of Bahrain's fine-dining market with its restaurant management tool, Eat has actively acquired market share in other GCC countries, with much of its focus being on the United Arab Emirates.

Following a two month period of client acquisition in Dubai carried out by the Bahrain-based team, eat has now officially launched its presence in the emirate by opening its doors to a new office. The facility is located in the Business Bay area and will be a key component in its continuing growth. Eat has also expanded its Dubai-based team, hiring a number of new staff across both sales and customer service.

Since launching its cloud-based restaurant reservation system in 2014, eat has quickly established itself as the market leader in its home market, the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the vast majority of fine-dining venues and five star hotels, including The Four Seasons Bahrain Bay, now using its restaurant solution. The company has rapidly expanded and currently has clients in not only the Middle East, but also in international markets including Mexico, Europe and East Asia. International hotels using the service in Dubai include The Palazzo Versace and The Taj Hotel, amongst others.

"Up until this point in our growth, having our main office based in Bahrain has been extremely beneficial. Thanks to the Kingdom's central local we have been able to successfully target other GCC markets while simultaneously focusing on the local market, with great results.

Due to the number of independent restaurants and hotel chains we now work with in Dubai, it made sense to open an additional office in the emirate to be able to provide local customer service and continue our growth strategy. The amount of interest in eat's restaurant management tool in the Dubai market has been phenomenal, and we have had to expand both our sales team and our customer service team to keep up with the amount of product enquiries and maintain a high quality level of support to existing product users," stated Nezar Kadhem, Co Founder.

As one of the GCC's largest markets in the hospitality industry, Dubai attracts many international and regional restaurant management service providers, including global players OpenTable. Despite this, eat has utilized a combination of local know-how and a superior product to carve out market share of its own. By continuing to invest heavily in research and product development, the company is continually evolving its product line to better meet the needs of its restaurant base.

Eat's current restaurant management product boasts cutting edge technology in a cloud-based system that is designed to maximize mobility, complimented by a range of analytical tools and optimization features. Featuring the ability to have multiple connections synced in real-time and extensive guest data capture, it has been designed to cater precisely to the needs of restaurant managers. Combined with a very competitive price structure, these factors have paved the way for early success.

eat connects diners in the Middle East with their favorite restaurants in real-time. Headquartered in Bahrain, eat is currently active in several GCC countries, including Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, while also operating in a number of international markets.

eat's consumer product is a restaurant discovery and real-time reservations app, allowing users to make instant restaurant bookings at a venue of their choice in just three clicks. The creation of the consumer app has improved Bahrain's restaurant reservations experience by integrating the latest technology and an intuitive interface with the ability to browse restaurants, see real-time table availability and make instantaneous reservations all from a smartphone device.

Besides its consumer product, eat also offers a restaurant management app, which provides restaurants with a comprehensive table and reservations management platform, complimented by a range of features to optimize business growth and vastly improve customer retention.
