NAPERVILLE, IL, August 04, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A webcast on retail home center marketing and merchandising best practices for construction products is now open for registration on the Construction Marketing Association (CMA) website. The free webcast for members and non-members is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 1 pm CST.

Learn how to market to The Home Depot, Lowe's, hardware co-ops and related channels. Topics include merchandising, packaging, promotions and line reviews. Panelists Kevin Enke of Bosch Power Tools, and John Quinn of MSA Safety Works will demonstrate examples of programs. Other panelists to be announced. CMA Chairman Neil Brown shares results of a industry survey, along with several resources.

The Retail Marketing Survey is available at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/59QX5YV

"For many building products, construction tools and supplies, retail is a major channel. Yet very little information exists on how to develop effective merchandising programs, or what these big retailers require from vendors," states Neil M. Brown. "This webcast will demonstrate merchandising and packaging examples, and provide tips and resources for construction marketers."
