The former New Jersey High School Athlete of the Year and stand-out track star at UNC, qualified for the Olympic team by placing second at the national track and field trials on July 6th in Eugene, Oregon.

A parade was held in her honor on July 31st, with over 1,000 people attending to show their support and wish her well as she heads to China on August 2nd.

Erin's heat will be televised on NBC's coverage of the Olympics, Monday night August 18th between 9:00 pm and 11:30 pm. Go, Erin and Team USA !
