With nearly three decades of professional experience and expertise in child development, Ms. Conway is an integral element of the success of Providence, an independent special education agency. She has been with the agency for 28 years, serving the last six as president and CEO, and the prior eight as vice president. In November 2011, the agency opened its sixth school, Providence McKenzie Towne, for children aged 2 to 6 with various disabilities.
Ms. Conway's role entails overseeing all operations of the agency and its six schools, as well as an outreach program and the resource development department. She is trusted to implement integrative programs, conduct research development, strategic planning, policy development, and report to the board of directors for governance. In recognition of her outstanding work, Ms. Conway was distinguished as Executive of the Year in Educational & Therapeutic Services in 2011. She considers her success to be a result of her passion for her work.
Ms. Conway studied early childhood education and development at Mount Royal University and administrative management at Athabasca University. She holds a professional management designation from the Canadian Institute of Management. Aside from her professional affiliations, Ms. Conway is a supporter of United Way Worldwide and Lions Clubs International.
