NEW YORK, NY, July 2, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Richard M. Kenny, an attorney in private practice, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of legal services.

Mr. Kenny has 19 years of experience as a trial lawyer. An expert in representing people who have been catastrophically injured in accidents, he has made significant contributions to the representation of accident victims and volunteered his office's services to the pro-bono representation of several families before the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund. Mr. Kenny has won over 20 seven-figure verdicts and settlements in the last few years and boasts the highest sustained verdict in the history of the Second Department of the State of New York (which encompasses Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland and Dutchess counties) in a case called Kihl vs. The County of Nassau. The case involved a catastrophically injured woman who was almost paralyzed when the car in which she was a passenger left the road and hit a tree. That same area of roadway was the situs of multiple prior accidents including two tragic deaths.

An alumnus of St. John's University, Mr. Kenny received his JD in 1990. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He attributes his success to extensive preparation, an indefatigable work ethic and a dynamic court room presence and aspires to lead a team of dedicated trial lawyers whose sole pursuit is to ensure that justice is provided to those who are accident victims.
