Now, like in anything else with advantages there are always a few disadvantages. The disadvantages for sedations consist of; someone must drive you to and from your dental appointment, the level of sedation is not easily changed and there is no pain relief effect. With all being said, there is truly no reason for anyone to not visit their dentist, especially if it involves any type of fear.
