Horizon Arts Camp serves economically disadvantaged children and youth from high needs communities throughout the GTA. Accredited by the Ontario Camps Association (OCA), Horizon is truly a unique camp program as it is the only OCA camp to offer a full arts program to economically disadvantaged kids taught by professional artists and performers. The camp's program focuses on the performing and visual arts along side traditional camp activities and leadership development. Our camp families pay a heavily subsidized fee, which only covers about 20% of our cost to operate. It is through the generosity of our donors and events like RIZE that we are able to operate.
Tickets are $35 and are available through the St. Lawrence Centre Box Office by phone, in person or online (416-366-7723, 27 Front Street East Toronto, or at http://www.stlc.com). All the proceeds go directly to support camp programs for some of Toronto's most deserving children.
