The various titles of "Liberty" offer a distinct musical universe, punctuated by profoundly sensitive lyrics, within innovative arrangements that encompass many different rhythms. The Liberty project is the fruit of the combined efforts of Alain Pype, an eminent French sound engineer, and Robert Lauri. The album will be distributed digitally from major websites throughout whole world in September.

One of the album's most varied numbers is the title "So Much Love, So Much Hate", where intense choruses rise in a marvellous hum while a Scandinavian-style walk provides the backdrop rhythm. The combination of powerful lyrics on the subject of love and its constraints, sets of chords and a tune that takes off, carried by the choruses, make it a title with a real European dimension as well.
Robert Lauri has been an author, a composer and a performer since his tenderest years. His musical career has been punctuated, for more than thirty years, by some records and a successful international career - both in the United States and in Europe - with the Alef band. Robert Lauri and the Alef band will be appearing on king-size stages in several American states this year.
