Now retired, aerospace and defense executive Mr. White led an impressive career spanning over 46 years. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering at Lafayette College in 1964, he began working as an engineer for Crucible Steel Company. He since held senior engineering and management positions for Curtiss-Wright Corporation, as president of GEC Marconi Aerospace Incorporated, and as aerospace group president of TransTechnology Corporation.
During the last seven years of his career, Mr. White served as the president and chief executive officer of Breeze-Eastern Corporation. The organization is a leading global designer and manufacturer of high-performance lifting and pulling devices for military and civilian aircraft, including rescue hoists, winches and cargo hooks, and weapons-handling systems. During these years, he also served on the board of directors before officially retiring in 2010.
Mr. White has been married to Joan Adam since 1970, with whom he has had two children. He has been highlighted in various editions of Who's Who between 1992 and 2016, including Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
