Rondeau Seminars Promotes Online Learning For Dentists

Dr. Brock Rondeau of Rondeau Seminars invites dentists to complete online learning courses to further their education and improve their dental practice.

LONDON, ON, August 22, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- To remain on the cutting edge of dental technology dentists need to attend ongoing education courses. However, traveling out of state to complete various continuing education courses can be difficult when monitoring their own dental practice. Dr. Brock Rondeau of Rondeau Seminars strives to help dentists remain up-to-date on their education by offering online learning courses. Through online learning, Dr. Rondeau helps dentists to continue to treat their patients while being able to complete continuing education at home or in their office.

"The dental field is very demanding and always expanding, but that doesn't make receiving continuing education any easier. Many dentists opt for out of state seminars and classes, but they can take a toll on their availability to their patients. Through Rondeau Seminars I am happy to offer online learning courses so that dentists don't have to leave home to receive more education in the area of orthodontics, functional appliances, TMJ (Jaw Joint) problems and snoring and sleep apnea," said Dr. Brock Rondeau.

Currently, Dr. Brock Rondeau is offering his Level 1, four-session orthodontic course for general dentists online. This comprehensive program is available to teach general and pediatric dentists how to diagnose and treat simple orthodontic cases. The courses will place a strong emphasis on thorough records and diagnosis while treatment will involve using a combination of functional appliances, mainly in mixed dentition and fixed orthodontic braces (straight wire technique) in permanent dentition.

Additionally, Dr. Rondeau offers online sleep disorder training through sleep apnea and snoring courses. This online learning course will discuss the diagnosis and treatment of patients with sleep disorders, including snoring and sleep apnea. Dentists will receive an extensive course manual and will be helpful to both doctors and staff in incorporating this into their general dental practice.

Dr. Rondeau's systemic approach, organization and marketing tips make incorporating orthodontics into the general practice relatively easy. Some of the benefits for completing online learning courses including: completion no matter where a dentist is in the world, earn credits from the comfort of home or an office computer, save time and money on travel and expenses, and an excellent way to train staff on complete orthodontic records.

"The dentist can be one of the primary care providers for mild to moderate cases of obstructive sleep apnea. Through this online course, I want to make sure dentists around the world understand that they can diagnose and treat their own patients," said Dr. Brock Rondeau.

Obviously there is a tremendous need for dentists to become more involved in helping their patients. It has been estimated that over 50% of adults over 50 snore and approximately 20% of adults have sleep apnea.
