Dr. DiZazzo-Miller has more than seven years of professional experience in education and five years of experience as an assistant professor at Wayne State University. She is considered to be an expert in teaching student interventions and outcomes for adults with physical disabilities. Her daily responsibilities include providing occupational therapy, conducting assessments and interventions, researching, facilitating care-giving training programs, managing cognitive investigations and analyzing teaching strategies. She attributes her success to her work ethic, hard work, caring nature, ability to build relationships with customers and the continued support of her family.

Dr. DiZazzo-Miller obtained her Dr. OT in Occupational Therapy in 2003. She received her Master's Degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2000 and her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Adrian College in 1997. Dr. DiZazzo-Miller is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association. She chairs the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the Student Affairs Committee, and is co-chair of the Wayne State University President's Commission on the Status of Women's Health Sciences Subcommittee for Women's Issues.
