Rowena S. Renn-Hicks has specialized in vocal instruction for an impressive 61 years. During the last 41 years, she has acted as owner and instructor of Renn Studio, through which she trains students in classical and opera singing, gives voice lessons and manages musical services. She has traveled in choral groups through Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels, as well as organized and led a youth choir through 37 states and Canada. For this, she credits her success to her hard work, passion for music and dedication to her students.

Ms. Renn-Hicks holds a master's degree in choral conducting from Georgia State University and a bachelor of arts from the University of Mary Washington. Her professional affiliations include the National Association of Teachers of Singing, the American Guild of Organists and the Music Teachers National Association.
