Scott Pikering
- September 05, 2007 - Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (R&SA) today announces the appointment of Scott Pickering as CEO for Asia & Middle East. He will be based in Dubai and report to Paul Whittaker, CEO of Emerging Markets for R&SA.
Scott joins from ACE Insurance where he was most recently CEO of ACE Insurance South Africa. Previously, he held several other senior positions at ACE including, Regional President, Far East & Japan and President & CEO, Hong Kong & Regional Director South East Asia.
Prior to ACE, Scott spent ten years in senior roles across Australasia and South East Asia with CIGNA.
His appointment is effective from 1st October 2007.
Paul Whittaker, CEO of Emerging Markets for Royal & Sun Alliance, said:
"Scott has extensive experience leading and managing a property and casualty insurance business and has a strong understanding of the markets and countries in which we operate.
