Mr. Armas has over fifteen years of healthcare experience in facilities management, support services, and construction. Mr. Armas is skilled in regulatory compliance, operations, and project management with strong capital planning, infrastructure knowledge and customer service focus. Mr. Armas spent over ten years at Sodexho, Inc, the largest provider of Facilities Management Services to hospitals in North America, in various roles including most recently as District Manager. As District Manager, Mr. Armas was directly responsible for managing the regulatory compliance of over ten hospitals. Mr. Armas has directly participated in more than fifty Joint Commission accreditation surveys in various roles.
"I've been in the clients' shoes and driven plans, keeping large organizations on target in achieving their goals and eliminating deficiencies" said Mr. Armas. "I can work with all levels within the organization, from hourly employees to senior leaders and the Board, to effectively demonstrate how regulatory compliance will not only keep them out of harm's way but can also save or even avoid costs. In a recent review of a Statement of Conditions plan, I was able to identify a situation to the CEO of a large hospital system where a purchase as simple as new door hardware would prevent the organization from losing millions in reimbursement from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and ensure that they kept on track with Joint Commission's Plan For Improvement at their sites."
