GARNER, NC, January 22, 2010
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Rush Hour Karting, a unique European-style go karting venue in Garner, will host a special fundraising event for the American Red Cross's disaster relief efforts for Haiti on Saturday, Jan. 23. As part of their "Help Race Funds for Haiti" effort, Rush Hour Karting will donate 100 percent of all net proceeds for the entire day to the American Red Cross.
"Almost everybody you talk to has been moved by the images they've seen of this terrible tragedy in Haiti and wants to help in some way," said Adam Saad, owner/operator of Rush Hour Karting. "This fundraiser is a way for some of our loyal customers to raise funds by doing something they enjoy, and a way to reward newcomers for donating to the Haiti relief effort."
Rush Hour Karting is located in the White Oak Business Park at 5335 Raynor Road in Garner, and will be open from noon to midnight on Jan. 23. The facility features a challenging one-third-mile track and both Jr. Karts for ages 8 to 15 and Adult Karts for ages 16 and up, so the whole family can participate.
