Carlos Brito has been a partner in one of the top 10 public accounting firms in Mexico since 1994, and he has more than 21 years' professional experience in the field of auditing.
In his previous firm he was in charge of the International Audit Department and the Mergers and Acquisitions Department. He was also head of the Corporate Finance Services Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean.
In the past seven years, he has participated in many merger and acquisition transactions.
As an audit partner, he has provided services across a diverse cross section of industries including manufacturing, beverages, distribution, newspapers, hotels and food, and he acts as the statutory supervisor (comisario) of many companies.
Carlos Brito is a Certified Public Accountant (Contador Público Certificado), a member of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos) and a member of the Mexican College of Public Accountants (Colegio de Contadores Públicos de Mexico).
He is co-author of a book on tax audit published by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants, and he has written several professional articles on due diligence.
