Her extensive studies have resulted in the development of pharmaceutical preparations, diets, and dietary supplements with ginkgoloides. She may be known best for her product Fidaderm , it is a topical application that is made up of ginkgoloides that protects the skin, microcirculation, subcutaneous tissue against aging, and more, and prevents skin disorders.

Dr. Korth has authored many professional articles and chapters to books, including the 1996 book "Platelet-Activating Factor and Related Lipid Mediators 2: Roles in Health and Disease." She formerly served as a research fellow at Forschergruppe Ernahrung of the Medical Poliklinik at LMU, worked as a member of the research staff for Paris INSERM Unite' in France between 1984 and 1997, and briefly served as a staff member for the institute for the prevention of heart and circulation diseases at the University of Munich in 1989. Prior to earning an MD, Dr. Korth completed a Master's degree at LMU in 1979.

A member of the Planetary Society, the European Atherosclerosis Society, the North American Vascular Biology Organization, among others, Dr. Korth has been included in Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in Finance and Business, and Who's Who in the World. She has received a host of other impressive accolades as well, including a Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH Research Award and a research fellowship from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat Munchen, and was an honorary visiting researcher at Royal North Shore Hospital.
