Saber Security's security team was retained by the City of Savannah to provide ongoing concierge-style security and information to visitors once the square officially opens to the public on Thursday, March 11.
"Officers will be located in the glass booth at Ellis Square," said Lumpert. "They will provide 24/7 security, as well as any additional assistance visitors may need."
Saber Security opened an office in Savannah in May of 2009 and currently services a wide range of clients ranging from the City of Savannah to various fraternities and sororities at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga.
