A healthcare project director with more than 30 years of experience in hospital acute care services and operations, Ms. Gallot-Reeves is a former director of critical care and cardiology services at a local organization as well as the founder of Connect the Dots since 2012. Ms. Gallot-Reeves's extensive experience and education in the healthcare field have served her well in her new role as entrepreneur. During the course of her career, she has worked directly with patients as a registered nurse and, has been responsible for the supervision and implementation of complex projects, including electronic documentation systems system applications and upgrades, construction/space design, and more, while working on the administrative side.
Forming Connect the Dots as a way for others to network and share information, tools, and techniques to assist hospital staff in navigating through project and change management processes, the company's mission is to promote the growth and success of individuals and teams committed to the achievement of goals. Connect the Dots is more than just a resource, but rather a mentor and facilitator that aims to help others in the field to be successful. By offering consulting services that can be tailored to the specific needs of each client via conference calls, Webex, and onsite meetings, these services include: project planning; process and workflow redesign and mapping; construction move planning; electronic documentation; and change management.
Ms. Gallot-Reeves earned a Bachelor of Art in Behavioral Studies and a Master of Art in Management. She is a registered nurse and is certified in both project management and change management. In 2014, she published her first book, "Between Shifts," a collection of vignettes in poetry that were written over a 30-year period of time and throughout her career as a professional nurse, wife, mother, and artist. She anticipates the publication of two more books in the coming years and plans to host several speaking engagements thereafter.
