On Thursday May 28 from 6:30 - 9 p.m., Executive Chef John Koltisko and Sam and Harry's will host an exceptional four-course dinner paired with Japanese sakes. Guests will learn "How Japan Influenced American Culture" in a special presentation by Ambassador John Malott, President and CEO of The Japan- American Society of Greater Washington. From architecture to animation, from fashion to food, from sake to Sudoku, America and Japan continue to have a major influence on each other. America's impact on Japan has been described often, but few Americans realize the impact that Japan has had on our culture and daily lives. The four-course dinner is $99 per guest, inclusive of tax and gratuity:

Poached lobster medallion with caviar and a cucumber mignonette
1st course:
Blue crab and maitake miso soup
2nd course:
Steamed Halibut
With onion and plum wine marmalade, apple radish ponzu,
