The redesign implements feedback from consumers and online experts, as recorded in a usability study, and places an emphasis on descriptive content and photographs and efficiency.

Immediate and noteworthy changes include the incorporation of the current Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort brand campaign, In Our World; three new flash videos taken from the award-winning Sandestin video magazine and the launching of a new online booking engine. Return users will enjoy a new four-click reservation process.

The usability study revealed the need for less copy, more imagery, and ease of navigation through a single toolbar; all techniques encouraged and now implemented to give consumers a sneak peak into the unique atmosphere, various village neighborhoods, pristine beaches, famous Destin golf courses, and other offerings through first-hand accounts and true-to-life photographs.

The Sandestin resort's new site also includes enhanced versions of existing features including virtual tours for each section, special packages, photo libraries and an interactive events calendar.
