Sandra Y. McNamara Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

Ms. McNamara brings 12 years of professional experience to Context, a translation services company that specializes in English-Spanish translations. Her expertise lies in literature, website translation, context and marketing. As the president, she is in charge of translating books and websites from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English. Ms. McNamara considers being able to make a difference in the lives of people by presenting them with multiple opportunities to learn and grow to be the most rewarding aspect of her work. She considers her passion for her profession, self-esteem and ability to make the most every opportunity that comes her way to be the keys to her success.

In addition to her work for Context Translations, Ms. McNamara teaches oral communications at Gibbs College in Cranston. She previously worked in journalism, marketing and public relations in her native Colombia. Ms. McNamara completed training in communication and American business at Harvard University in 2005. Additionally, she received her Master's Degree in Public Relations and Marketing in 1998 and her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Social Communications in 1994, both from Universidad de Antioquia in Colombia. She sits on the board of directors of Options for Working Families, and volunteers with the Center for Women & Enterprise.
