Over the years, he has studied and developed the improved electric power system of APR1400, overseen the maintenance and operations of nuclear power plants in Korea, performed electric power circuit improvements for the main control and electrical control boards, and designed a medium voltage switchgear, low voltage switchgear, emergency mobile generator, inverter, and station battery system.
A graduate of KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School, Mr. Lee holds a Master of Science in nuclear power plant engineering. His professional affiliations include the Project Management Institute, Professional Engineer in Kentucky State of USA, and Korean Researcher Information. Throughout his many years in the field, he had achieved much, including the first successful design for the whole replacement of a main control board in Kori which is the first whole replacement in the world.
Beyond his status as a leader within his industry, he has been awarded many times for his work in the field. Over the years, Mr. Lee has earned the CEO Award for Project Development on multiple occasions, and has been published in the Science and Technology of Nuclear Installations Journal.
