Dr. Choi received a PhD degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Chungbuk National University in Republic of Korea in 1999.
Dr. Choi began his career as an esteemed occupational safety researcher at the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials, where he worked from 1984 through 1991. Since 1991, Dr. Choi has been a member of the Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute. He previously worked at Japan National Industrial Occupational Safety and Health as the Fellow of the Science and Technology Agency in Japan from 2001 to 2003.
Currently, Dr. Choi holds the position of senior researcher at this site. As an esteemed member within his field, Dr. Choi is the recipient of the Academic Award of the Korean Society of Safety.
