BETHLEHEM, PA, March 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sarah C. Pennachio, Education Director and Behavior Analyst for New Story, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in her career.

Ms. Pennachio has six years of overall professional experience. At her current post, she is in charge of ensuring the curriculum is current and up to date, and overseeing all behavior intervention plans, education plans for each student, and data collection, analysis, and measures to be taken to correct issues. She became involved in her profession because she came from a family of educators.

In 2004, Ms. Pennachio earned her Master of Education, with a concentration in Special Education, from Lehigh University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education, with a concentration in Visually Impaired and Blind Education, from Kutztown University. She holds certifications in applied behavior analysis and in elementary education, and is a certified special education teacher, certified special education teacher for visually impaired and blind, and certified behavior analyst. Ms. Pennachio received the Star of Excellence Award for Promoting Resiliency in Children in 2009 from Magellan Health Services.
