/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Sarah L. Pysell, Paramedic for the Division of Fire and Rescue Services of Frederick County, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of public safety.
As a paramedic for the Division of Fire and Rescue Services of Frederick County, Sarah L. Pysell is responsible for inspecting the unit, ensuring that they have the proper equipment in order, responding to calls, treating patients, administering medications and treating life-threatening injuries. She began her career as a volunteer for the fire department and found her niche as an emergency medical technician. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her family and friends and to the motivation she received from her instructors.
Ms. Pysell received her Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Services from the University of Maryland in 2006. She is a Granddaughter of the American Legion and is affiliated with the International Association of Firefighters Local 3666 and the International Association of Fire Fighters. In her spare time, she is also involved with the Garrett County Livestock Association, the 4-H Club and the IAFF Union. She hopes to move up in the ranks with the fire department and continue her education.
