REGINA, SK, CANADA, October 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SaskCulture Inc., a community-driven, non-profit organization that works to build a culturally vibrant Saskatchewan, elected one returning director and seven new directors (including Cormican), October 24th, 2009 to its 12-member board.

The elections took place during SaskCulture's Annual General Meeting scheduled in and amongst the Leadership 101 Conference held this past Friday through Sunday in downtown Regina, SK.

CSSC Founder David Cormican shares the Arts portfolio responsibilities with current board member Rod MacIntyre.

"It is an absolute honour to be selected by the member organizations and stakeholders to represent the best interests of the Arts," said Cormican. "This province is wonderfully rich in both Arts and Culture and so very happy the CSSC is a part of the fabric of this province. I am excited to bring my expertise and experience to the Board and its governance, while playing an active role in maintaining a strong, thriving, cohesive cultural community."
