/24-7PressRelease/ -- On Sunday, September 11th, SBS Group employees volunteered with Jersey Cares for the September 11th Day of Service and Remembrance at Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park, New Jersey. SBS Group, a leading technology consulting firm in New Jersey, provides mid-market accounting & business management solutions to companies across the U.S. This annual event gathered over 1,000 volunteers from across the state to unite and honor the memory of September 11th by improving local communities.
Jersey Cares, a nonprofit organization, recruits and engages volunteers in rewarding, effective efforts that address community identified needs. It partners with local nonprofits to identify needs and implement projects to meet these needs. Jersey Cares provides individuals, families, corporate employees and community employees with a wide variety of volunteer opportunities that range from tutoring children to painting new murals in schools. SBS employees painted planter pots that will decorate the Veterans Memorial Home landscape. Veterans Memorial Home is a 332-bed nursing home providing skilled nursing care for our veterans.
