Schnucks Ladue Crossing Hanukkah Celebration December 15 in St. Louis

    ST. LOUIS, MO, December 13, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hanukkah storytelling, games for children, and a singing presentation will be featured at the 23rd annual Hanukkah Celebration to be held 6:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Schnucks Ladue Crossing shopping center, I-170 at Ladue Road. The event will take place at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers.

The Hanukkah Celebration will be emceed by Rabbi Yaakov Green, Headmaster of H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy and features Hanukkah storytelling with master educator Ms. Jackie Oppenheimer and Hanukkah songs performed by The Epstein Choir, led by Rabbi Daniel Morris. The event will also feature games and crafts for all children.

All children will receive a free gift of traditional Hanukkah chocolate "gelt" (gold coins). Hanukkah begins the evening of December 24 and is an eight-day celebration of the Festival of Lights commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple.

The Hanukkah Celebration is free and open to the public.
