/24-7PressRelease/ -- Scooble.com will join the 2009 inaugural Howl-o-ween pooch parade and pet expo Saturday, October 31, 11:00 a.m. at Rancho Tapo Community Park (Lemon Park) in Simi Valley presented by the Rotary Club of Simi Sunset.
This year's inaugural Howl-o-ween event hopes to raise funds to help the Simi Valley community with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the PET STOP RESCUE, a local non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to placing homeless and displaced animals.
Howl-o-ween pooch parade promises plenty of entertainment and a fun filled afternoon complete with category judging, contest award presentations, Disc Dogs of Southern California, Dogs Can Dance demonstrations, the Supersonic flyball racing teams, agility exhibition, K-9 group, pet adoptions and many wonderful pet vendors and exhibitors offering giveaways for your pooches!
Howl-o-ween sponsor, Scooble.com, will be giving away goody bags of special treats to participants and spectators at the event.
Check-in, late registration and category judging will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the parade kicking off at 12:00 p.m. Festivities will continue until 3:30 p.m. To pre-register or download a registration form, visit http://www.howloweenpoochparade.com/Register.html. The entrance fee is $15 per pooch and $10 per additional family pooch. The entrance fee includes Pooch Bandana and Goody Bag while supplies last. There is no charge for walkers and spectators of this event. Category judging will be based on the following categories: Best Pooch Costume, Owner-Pooch Look Alike, Most Humorous, Best Small Pooch, Best Large Pooch and Judges' Choice.
