/24-7PressRelease/ -- Scottish Spirits Ltd has been granted the exclusive rights for worldwide distribution (except in the USA and Germany) for the Stolichnaya and Moskovskaya brand Vodkas. The deal is between Scottish Spirits and the original trademark and brand owners, Federal State Enterprise FKP SOJUZPLODOIMPORT in Moscow, Russia.
Scottish Spirits Ltd is based in Panama, and is currently recognized as a major distributor of whiskies in Latin America and other international markets. For the distribution of the Stolichnaya and Moskovskaya lines, Scottish Spirits Ltd is planning to reorganize and streamline the worldwide distribution for the vodkas. This initiative will include appointing new distributors and sub-distributors worldwide.
"I am very happy to have signed such an exciting arrangement with FKP SOJUZPLODOIMPORT," says Reynald Katz. Stolichnaya and Moskovskaya are the some of the best-known and best vodkas in the world, and with this deal our export sales will increase by $20 million dollars. During the first year, consumers round the world will be able to buy Stolichnaya and Moskovskaya in local stores and duty free shops, among other new venues.
Previously the Stolichnaya and Moskovskaya brands were distributed by an Eastern European group which lost the distribution rights due to trademark infringement issues with Enterprise FKP SOJUZPLODOIMPORT.
