Pat Brady, travel insurance manager at AXA insurance said that many people were adventuring during their holiday tour rather than spending their holidays in traditional manner. He further added that many people were buying customised holiday loans package but they were not covering themselves against the risk. People were leaving themselves vulnerable to accidents by not opting for travel insurance.
Around 124,605 people of all ages have suffered serious injuries. Out of that, a total of one in five 18 to 24 years old have been injured shows AXA findings. Another research conducted by swiftcover.com, an online insurance company, reveals that around forty four percent of Britons travel abroad without proper insurance coverage.
