DEERFIELD BEACH, FL, September 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Securenet Systems, Inc., a radio streaming services provider located in Deerfield Beach Florida, announced several new features that bring Social Media into the listener experience and help broadcasters expand their reach and create added listener loyalty. The new features acts as force-multipliers for stations and broadcasters using the Securenet streaming system. By using the newly deployed Social Media player features, a station's and/or broadcaster's listeners can share, chat, embed, bookmark, make comments, interact, and more, using simple control icons that appear on the bottom of every player.

The broadcaster can elect to add any of the new and original features to its custom streaming player via a secure Control Panel, including a new chat icon that allows listeners to chat with each other, DJs, artists, etc. Listeners can also be given the choice to request a favorite song or title, using a direct-email feature. The new AddThis widget allows listeners to share the player via email, or post a player link to any of over 350+ Social Media sites including FaceBook, Twitter and Google Buzz. The FaceBook Fan Page "Like" button also appears on the player as part of the icon set if selected.

Listeners can easily embed a player by clicking on a link on the bottom of the player that gives them the copy/paste code. Players can be embedded anywhere, using a simple i-frame embedding code. A bookmark link bookmarks the player on the listener's desktop with a click, allowing for direct linking to the streaming content in the future. Additional player icons link directly to a help page for listeners and to Securenet Systems homepage. The Help icon can be set to go to a custom page set up by the broadcaster so that the help instructions may be provided in any language from the broadcaster's site.
