Ms. Foster parlays 23 years of law experience into advocating civil rights and promoting compliance with Title VI-related laws. Over the past year, she became a partner at Title VI Consulting, LLP, a consulting firm that works to ensure non-discrimination and equal opportunity for all. In her position, Ms. Foster is responsible for researching discrimination complaint investigation processes, as well as mediating disputes between parties. She is an awarding-winning author of "Civil Rights Investigations Under the Workforce Investment Act and Other Title VI-Related Laws: From Intake to Final Determination," and hopes to continue building awareness through her book.

A standout amongst her peers, Ms. Foster has been accredited as a certified mediator by the Supreme Court of Virginia, and holds a federal workplace mediation certification. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Michigan State University. Soon after, she decided to pursue law and completed a JD at The George Washington University. Ms. Foster keeps abreast of her field by being involved in The District of Columbia Bar, The Virginia Bar Association and U.S. Supreme Court Association. Furthermore, she serves as the vice chair of the Economic Opportunity Commission, and is affiliated with the discrimination law committee and human rights law committee of the International Bar Association.
