    NEW HYDE PARK, NY, September 11, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Dr. Rubin S. Cooper has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his extraordinary effort in the Healthcare Industry. As the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology for North Shore LIJ and Alexandra Caten Children's Medical Center, as well as throughout his incredible 35 year career, Dr. Cooper has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Dr. Cooper is a Pediatric Cardiologist who specializes in congenital heart defects, Mucocutaneous Lymph Node Syndrome and rheumatic heart disease. During his educational career, he earned his Medical degree at New York Medical College in 1971. Dr. Cooper completed his residency through Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Cooper is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. He has been the recipient of the honor of Castle Connolly America's Top Doctors from 2004-2008 and Castle Connolly America's Top Doctors: New York Metro Area from 1999-2008. Dr. Cooper also serves as a David Wallace-Starr Foundation Professor of Clinical Pediatric Cardiology for Cornell University School of Medicine.
