As CEO of Encompass Community Services for the past 14 years, Elaine has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Encompass Community Services has been assisting people with disabilities and those who may be disadvantaged in the Geelong and surrounding regions for almost 25 years. Each year Encompass supports about 800 people through specialist employment services, small business ventures, lifestyle programs and provision of training both accredited and non-accredited.
The organization is committed to promoting equality and opportunity. Nearly half of its employees have a disability, reinforcing Encompass' commitment to diversity in the workplace and equal opportunities to the community. They provide services to people with physical, intellectual, sensory and psychological disabilities as well as other individuals who are disadvantaged such as disengaged youth, long-term unemployed and those facing financial, social or learning barriers.
Elaine is a Human Resources Specialist who promotes community awareness through public speaking and lecturing. She has an incredible passion for helping others in need. She is a member of the Disability and Development Association, National Disability Services, Australian Institute Of Company Directors and Victoria Counsel of Australia as well as a Board Member of Project Respect.
