Founded on February 11th by Ben Jackson, the SEO blog has grown steadily in readership and popularity across the web in its first year on the web.
Started from scratch and months with fewer than 50 visits, the SEO blog has risen to have thousands of visitors per month and has sealed many first page rankings using the SEO techniques explained and taught on the site itself. The blog has been featured on many prominent websites over the course of the last 12 months including Basic Blog Tips, SEO ROI, and the very popular ProBlogger. The site also boasts many first page rankings that increase daily.
Since its founding, the blog has gone through many different changes and updates. The site has been through many design overhauls and updated many times. Most recently, SEO Discovery switched to a more blog friendly type design and has just begun accepting guest bloggers.
In celebration of the site's first birthday, Ben has released a new ebook, "2 Minute Links" for free on his site as a blog post. The extensive post covers 8 different tips and tricks for writing content for blog networks at a much faster rate. Hence, the title 2 Minute links.
Ben hopes to take the site to further popularity in the coming year and vastly increase the readership. With the addition of blog posts from guest bloggers as well, Ben hopes to increase the reach and appeal of SEO Discovery, and build a stronger community.
