GREENFIELD, IN, October 09, 2008
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Service Engineering, Inc., an Indiana-based parts handling, automation and feeder bowl equipment manufacturer, is proud to announce the near completion of a 12,000 sq. ft. expansion at their Greenfield facility. "We are in the final stages of an expansion that is being done in conjunction with a major capital equipment reinvestment," says Ryan Jennings, President. "The changes that we are making will revolutionize the way our products are manufactured and by taking these steps, we maintain our position as the leader in our industry."
By increasing the productive work space by 23%, Service Engineering makes room for many recently-purchased pieces of equipment that include: a FLOW Waterjet cutting machine, an Amada total bending solution press brake, and a Virtek QC laser scanner. These machines represent the newest technology available on the market today. The amazing 87,000 psi waterjet cutting machine cuts virtually all materials regardless of hardness, it easily cuts steel thicknesses up to 8 inches, and it minimizes the waste created by traditional cutting techniques. "This investment in technology puts us literally on the cutting edge. We now have the capabilities to cut, bend, and weld more efficiently than anyone in our industry," adds Mr. Jennings. "Our customers demand that our equipment be available to them at the best possible value and at the shortest available lead time. Service Engineering plans to accomplish both and we will do it with consistency and at a volume that our competition simply cannot."
Service Engineering's new resources will also be made available to their manufacturing partners and customers in an effort to help them reduce their operating expenses as well. "Bringing these technologies in-house positions us to serve as a one-stop-shop for cutting, bending, welding and manufacturing," states Mr. Jennings.
