- Saginaw, MI, July 10, 2008, Sharon J. Fowler, Controller for The Hausbeck Pickle Company, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in account management.
Ms. Fowler brings 15 years of professional experience to The Hausbeck Pickle Company, a family-owned enterprise that distributes Pickles, Banana Peppers and Jalapeño Peppers. She joined the company last year as its first-ever comptroller, creating the position from the ground-up. She is in charge of overseeing accounts, reviewing financials, detecting inefficiencies, putting budgets together for all departments, implementing PO systems and checks and balances, putting software systems into practice, and handling a bulk of information technology work, which used to be outsourced. An excellent people manager, she also heads the human resources department. Ms. Fowler considers creating this position and accomplishing the necessary turnaround, despite the early unpopularity of her methods, to be the highlight of her career. Prior to joining Hausbeck, she worked as a controller at Lear Corp/Int'l Automotive Companies of North America and as a business line finance manager at Delphi Corporation. She attributes her success to hard work and determination.
A product of Northwood University, Ms. Fowler holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, in addition to an Associate's Degree in Business Management and an Associate's Degree in Banking and Finance. In her spare time, she volunteers with her local dog pound. Ms. Fowler is absolutely thrilled with her current position, and looks forward to long-term growth with The Hausbeck Pickle Company.
