Sharon Kais Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Civil, Mining and Construction Management

    MIDLAND, WESTERN AUSTRALIA, July 6, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sharon Kais, Founder & Director - Secretary of Kais Contractors Pty Ltd., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in civil, mining and construction management.

Mrs. Kais is tenacious and highly motivated in all areas with a strong personal drive. She started working as a junior accounts clerk for O'Donnell Griffin in 1978 and later years promoted to State Accounts Payable Supervisor for the Tyco Group. She later took a various positions within the banking section and moved on as a finance contracts officer for the drilling and oil department at Woodside Energy. After her third child, she worked as an insurance underwriter/cso at HBF and then moved onto payroll manager at Australbricks and their subsidiary company Temples WA Pty Ltd.

While pursuing a career, Kais Contractors was formed as a partnership with her husband David Kais in 1991. Mrs. Kais has always strived to make the company a success and took on additional work with Micropay to fund the acquisition of their first machine and registered Kais Contractors Pty Ltd in 2004. This paved the way for the making of a successful plant and labour hire company servicing the civil, mining and construction industries.

With 34 years of expertise in banking, accounting and contracts, Mrs. Kais began working for the company full time in 2006. She is in charge of overseeing the daily functions of the business, including administrative work, quotes, contracts, negotiations, repairs and maintenance, HR and payroll management, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, advertising, marketing, financing, debts and creditors, budgeting and three-way forecasting. In 2009, David Kais moved from mobile plant operator to assisting Sharon Kais with a hands on approach to the remote areas of Western Australian and management of the machinery.

Having achieved years of success, she credits her hard work and love and desire for what she does. Distinguished because of her excellent services, she maintains professional associations in her community with Women in Mining Western Australia and The Australian Federation of Business and Professional Women and is a member of Civil Contractors Federation WA, Chamber of Commerce WA and Swan Chamber of Commerce. She hopes to have a more professional and more polished presentation of herself at a higher corporate level.

Mrs. Kais earned a Business Studies Diploma from Kewdale Senior High in 1978 and a small business management degree from Carine College in 1994 and Taxation Accounting in 1997. Aside from her profession, she sponsors a family through Ronald McDonald Charities and is sponsoring the refurbishment of the playroom in the Ronald McDonald House. In addition, she supports the Telethon and Starlight Foundation for the funding of Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Western Australia and supports Oxfam. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family.
