Ariyanayagam-Baksh, Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist and Dermatopathologist, Co-Founder of Laboratory, and Doctor for Pennsylvania Specialty Pathology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of pathology and dermatopathology.

With 14 years of professional experience, Dr. Ariyanayagam-Baksh specializes in dermatopathology. She is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring the quality of specimens and processes on slides, histologic diagnoses of diseases, and supervising staff. Recognitions of which she is a recipient include the Stowell-Stowell-Orbison Award for Pathologists from the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology in 2000 and the Case of the Quarter Award from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. Dr. Ariyanayagam-Baksh also won first place in the third annual resident cancer paper competition conducted by the Virginia chapter of the American College of Surgeons in 1998. She considers her passion for her profession to be the key to her success.

A board certified Dermatopathologist, Dr. Ariyanayagam-Baksh completed her fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of Pittsburgh. She also completed training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and received a board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology. She is a fellow of the American Society of Dermatopathology, the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Additional affiliations include the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the International Academy of Pathology and the International Society of Dermatopathology.
