Shea Homes Brings New Designs to Questa at Mountain House

New choices at Esplanade neighborhood address rising homebuyer demand.

MOUNTAIN HOUSE, CA, November 28, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mountain House developer Shea Mountain House, LLC reports that the village of Questa in Mountain House is buzzing, as San Francisco Bay Area homebuyers discover exceptional design choices, acclaimed schools and a welcoming community. Shea Homes Northern California is adding to the activity with two new designs in its Esplanade neighborhood.

Premiering at Esplanade in mid-November, the two new floorplans bring to 29 the number of distinctive designs available in the village of Questa. Situated in 6 inviting neighborhoods, all homes are detached and include both one- and two-story selections. Priced from the low $300,000s to the mid $400,000s, floor plans range from about 1,870 to 3,664 square feet of living space, in diverse configurations that are enhanced by equally diverse layout options.

Esplanade's new Vanderbilt and Andrews designs provide 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, with approximately 2,295 and 2,418 square feet of highly functional living space. Their home sites provide generous rear yards for play space and indoor/outdoor entertaining, and such optional spaces as the California Room, a casita and a fifth bedroom. "Shoppers will find the perfect trio of style, function and flexibility with these designs," said Adam Hieb, vice president of marketing for Shea Homes Northern California. "We predict strong buyer response to a high-value opportunity."

Also premiering is a new model home at Standard Pacific Homes' Miramonte neighborhood. Introduced earlier this year, the Alpine design is the only single-story design in Mountain House, and now, prospective buyers can tour a fully decorated model that showcases its floorplan. Opening from a porch and formal foyer, the 2100-square foot Alpine provides an easy-living great room, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, plus optional layouts that provide 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. A gourmet island kitchen and secluded master suite are among the design highlights.

All of these choices further enhance ownership opportunities in the village of Questa, which is drawing a diverse group of first-time buyers, move-up families and empty nesters. Offering the new homes are award-winning homebuilders with national reputations for quality and service.

These builders include Meritage Homes, Shea Homes and Standard Pacific Homes. Shea Homes neighborhoods include Antigua, Esplanade and Campania. Standard Pacific Homes offers Miramonte and Montalcino, while Meritage Homes is offering its new Belmonte neighborhood.

New homeowners in the village of Questa also discover the many advantages of location in Mountain House. "Excellent schools, diverse neighborhoods, wonderful open space and terrific ways to get together with family, friends and neighbors--these are the qualities that bring new homebuyers to Mountain House," said Hieb.

Mountain House has four villages, five parks, three high-ranking K-8 schools, a library and the upcoming Mountain House High School, now under construction. At completion, the community will include 10 villages, additional K-8 schools and a Town Center with shopping, entertainment, and dining. Some 750 acres of reserved open space also highlight Mountain House.

Mountain House is east of Livermore, off the I-580 at Mountain House Parkway, and is served by the Mountain House Community Services District (MHCSD). The developer of Questa at Mountain House is Shea Mountain House LLC. See www.MountainHouseLiving.com.
