(SHI), winner of the 2009 local CotY (Contractor of the Year) award for Best Kitchen Remodel announced today that President and CEO, Sheen Fischer, has been elected Vice President of the San Diego Chapter of the National Association on the Remodel Industry (NARI).

Sheen Fischer has been a local businessman in the San Diego area since 1993. As a former Marine Corps NCO and outside rep for several local firms prior to starting his own business, Sheen built expertise in leadership, project management and the sales/client relationship/personal service skills that now define him and his home improvement business. Sheen and SHI have amassed an extensive portfolio of experience and successfully completed projects ranging from fine finish carpentry and custom moulding installation, specialty bath and kitchen remodels to major entire house renovation projects.
