/24-7PressRelease/ - March 06, 2008 - New York, NY - March 4, 2008 - InfoTech Solutions for Business, Inc. ("InfoTech") announces the signing of a contract with Sheet Metal Workers International Local Unions #25 and #28 to perform a survey and analysis of the unions' work force, employment, and hiring systems. The project was awarded to InfoTech following a six-month proposal process with both unions and the office of the Court-appointed Special Master, David Raff, Esq.

"After a long and arduous RFP process, it was clear that InfoTech understood the needs of Local Union #25 in developing and implementing a complex employment and hiring system," stated Joseph Demark, President and Business Manager of Local Union #25.

"Additionally," said Mr. Demark, "the fact that InfoTech has a facility geographically located in North Dakota was an important factor by virtue of keeping jobs in the United States."

Michael Belluzzi, President and Business Manager of Local #28 said, "We decided to go ahead with InfoTech because they quickly gained a good understanding of our needs and have shown a commitment to getting the work done and keeping jobs in the U.S. Their ability to provide hosting services from their North Dakota facility was attractive."

"This project provides us the ability to leverage development resources in our Minot, North Dakota facility, where we provided high quality work at more economical rates than can be done from higher cost New York and other metropolitan centers. It furthers our strategy of implementing an in-shoring model that supports growth and maintenance of local intellectual talent inside the U.S., while delivering realized value through competitive rates and higher overall quality than found when outsourcing development work to foreign locales," said Ben Morgan, EVP and head of InfoTech's Financial Services Practice.

Headquartered in midtown Manhattan, InfoTech is a software house and systems integration company offering a variety of technology and business solutions in the five following practice areas:
