CINCINNATI, OH, June 25, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Sheryl A. Johnson, Founder & Director of Delinquent Parents Outreach, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of community development.

As the founder and director of Delinquent Parents Outreach, Inc., Ms. Johnson has devoted her career to prison alternatives and prisoner rehabilitation. On a daily basis, she deals with ex-offenders and non-custodial parents with child support issues and finds the best solutions for them to prevent incarceration and stay on track. She also provides job referrals, deals with court orders and works with an adult parole re-entry management team. Ms. Johnson grew up in Nashville, Tennessee in a family that put emphasis on a father's role in his family. Her own experience seeking support from her daughter's father led her to become an advocate for those in similar situations and beyond. She attributes her success to her faith in God and the support of Charlene Stevenson. She receives encouragement from her colleagues, criminal and juvenile court judges, and government entities.

Ms. Johnson received her Associate's Degree in Science from the University of Cincinnati in 1972 and completed coursework in business. The recipient of the Honorary Mention Award from Greater Cincinnati Foundation for Excellence in Social Work and Strategic Planning, she is certified as an Offender Workforce Specialist and Global Career Development Facilitator. She sees herself traveling as a workforce facilitator educating people on what child support truly entails and wants to create public awareness of these issues on a global scale.

Delinquent Parents Outreach, Inc. is an advocacy organization for justice and a community provider that provides social services, substance abuse treatment, child support and transitional housing. For more information, visit www.delinquentparentsoutreach.org.
